Bunnies are taking over the world

The first time i saw this advert i literally stopped mid action to watch it. It is fantastic!
Produced by Fallon and directed by Frank Budgen i think this is a very cleaver ad. its fun, its bright and it definitely caught my eye. i would enjoy being part of the production team for this, i can imagine it was a very long and laborious project but the end result would be worth it.
analysing the graphics and things that i see and find interesting there seams to be a pattern emerging, mainly advertisment graphics, always corporate and generally involved with tv or movement images.
i believe this is something i will continue to investigate and monitor.

tv programs

My favourite TV programs at the moment.
long way down and top gear. I love cars and bikes and all things fast! i'm not the average girl i do actually know abit about them too! Top gear really apeals to me as i think Clarkson is so funny and so blunt. i love that none of the presenters care about public opinion they're just happy to speak their mind, (well that is what they're paid for) i think it apeals to me in a design sense through the cars and the designs of them. i enjoy analysing the styles and creating my own oppinion of them. i also really really like the opening credits and the tune is unmistakable its like a human mating call to attract any man within the area.
Long way down is another pretty manly program with the added bonus of Ewan McGregor for all us ladies to swoon over. i just think its a fab program so i wanted to acknoledge it on my blog!

heros

Heros.
a fantastic program. i love the story, the charaters and the imagery used.
It appeals to me as it is very 'comic book' i have always enjoyed super hero
comics and stories so this one really caught my eye. there isn't much of
the program that uses a graphic designer in the ususal sense but i
would still enjoy working on a project like this for the story and communication
aspects. i would enjoy creating credits or props or anything involved on
the set creation.

Ipod+Itunes adds

One of the most gorgeous adds on tv at the moment. the colours the tunes and the dancing has me mesmorised.

seven- kyle cooper

still one of my favourite film credits of all time. i love kyle coopers work and after seeing this i investigated and located more of his work, that i had already noticed a few years ago not realising the connection between them.

300

I've been a Frank Millar fan for quite some time now so when i heard they where making the film of 300 i was excited but apprehensive as i just hoped they could do justice to his work. The film i thought was amazing. the 300 website http://300themovie.warnerbros.com/ has some fantastic images and information about how the graphics were turned into the fantastic film.

Critical Journal

As a developing graphic designer i have been collecting and analysing graphics and images for years (often without even realising) here i am compiling some of the images that i have collected. any comments, suggestions or veiws about these images are more than welcome.
